Oh, holy cow you guys. I think I might be allergic to dairy (cue sarcastic half-hearted woo’s). I currently am working on eating dairy-free and egg-free (already an allergen I just didn’t take it as seriously as I should’ve) for the next four weeks to test the waters, and we’ve been gluten-free for a couple years now. When thinking of going dairy-free it sounded really daunting, not gonna lie.
This recipe gives you a delicious combination of a quiche and breakfast sandwich all baked into one, and EVERY bite is like that. The cheese creates little puddles of goodness throughout the loaf and if you reheat a slice in an oven, toaster oven, or air fryer, the whole outside becomes a toasty cheesy shell and it’s ah-mazing. However, that is not the end to this beautiful piece of art, it also tastes freshly baked when reheated, like c’mon, how much better can this bread be??

Sugar cookies are always a fun holiday treat. They are simple, fun to decorate, and an activity you can get the whole family in on. There aren’t many gluten-free (GF) sugar cookie options out there. I scoured the internet and looked for weeks at local stores and all I scrounged up were three options. However, after some digging, it looks like these are the only ones that are readily available year round. So which cookies are worth the buy and which should never make it into the cart?
If you are a fan of the sweet and salty flavor combination, this is the perfect treat for you. Buttered popcorn wrapped in gooey marshmallow and filled with whatever candy you desire (my favorite is peanut M&M’s). This recipe is as easy as rice Krispies but personally, I think they are a whole lot better (seriously rice Krispies, you better watch your back).

Tart cranberries soaked in an orange simple syrup and rolled in orange zest and sugar, what more could you want? These are effortless to make and an incredible treat to eat. They sort of burst in your mouth on the first chew. I say sorta because they aren’t like a Gusher, but they still have a little pop. Plus, you only need 3 ingredients! Orange, cranberries and sugar… and water if you want to count that.

Now I have never been a big fan of stuffing. I am more of a cranberry girl myself, but boy oh boy does Derek love stuffing. I love making ribbon candy. It’s very rewarding, looks pretty when it’s done, and it’s impressive because many people don’t make it by hand anymore. This has been one of my favorite flavors and I can’t wait to share the art of ribbon candy with all you lovelies! The ribbon candy is green apple flavored and filled with caramel and it is freaking delicious. It tastes like those caramel apple lollipops that you can only get a month out of the year.
