Milk Chocolate Potato Chip Bark Recipe
Salty, sweet, and chocolatey, what’s not to love? This is a simple treat to throw together with only two ingredients and tastes ah-mazing. Salty and sweet is a classic and delicious combo but the crunch from the potato chips just puts this candy over the top. You don’t even need to temper the chocolate because it tempers as you make the bark! This is an effortless recipe anyone can make (even kids) and is great for gifts.

A Beginners Guide to Chocolate
Since I’ll be sharing a few chocolate recipes this year, I thought it would be important to have a post about how to handle chocolate. Now, weirdly I am much better with sugar. I can sculpt roses by hand out of sugar, but man when chocolate and I get together I seem to find it in the weirdest places afterward and make a complete mess doing it. How does chocolate even get on your elbow when you haven’t melted any yet? This post will go over the basics of chocolate, how to temper, and any tools you may need. Let’s get started!
Peppermint Bark Shake (Copycat Red Robin)
If you haven’t been to your local Red Robin to get this shake (or you haven’t tried it because you aren’t sure if you’ll like it), MAKE THIS RIGHT NOW! It is ah-mazing and you won’t have to dish out $5 for just one shake! Cooling peppermint candy canes and sweet white chocolate are just a classic combo and, dare I say, even better in shake form.

A New Take On Dessert: Warm Shakes for the Cold Season
Alright, I know it sounds weird but hear me out: this dessert is like a milkshake meets pudding meets the desire for something warm. It is basically a thin warm pudding made up to act and drink like a milkshake. It is ah-mazing. It has the thickness of a milkshake (and you could add all the same toppings and flavors to it as well), but it’s warm and creamy like a pudding. At first, when I came up with this idea, Derek thought I was being crazy again (like the time I tried to convince him we should melt gummy bears and chocolate together to make caramel), but after trying it, he’s hooked. This is the perfect dessert for a cold day that is truly decadent and indulgent like a shake.

The Gluten Free Skeptic: Best Gluten-Free Brownie Mixes, RANKED
I have never tried a premade gluten-free (GF) mix before this. I see them everywhere and I feel like every day a new one enters the battlefield that is GF. While on a recent trip to the grocery store I found an overwhelming amount of brownie mixes. There were six all in one store. It got me thinking, with all the choices and the huge range in price, how can anyone pick just one? Well, that’s what I’m here for! I tried, described, and ranked eight of the most popular GF brownie mixes.

Easy Peanut Butter and Banana S’Mores in a Pan (gluten-free)

A Classic Mudslide Milkshake Recipe (gluten-free)
Ladies and Gents, dust off your blender and put the kids to bed early! We’re gonna have some adult time (not that kind of adult time, I’m trying to be family friendly here) because we’re making MUDSLIDES as a MILKSHAKE. I hope your cheat day is today because you’re gonna need it. If you ain’t got plans to go shopping you better make some so you can pick up these ingredients and get your drink on (you’re my kinda person if you happen to have all ingredients on hand). This milkshake is delicious, boozy and pumped full of chocolate, what more could you want?

Easy Hot or Iced Turtle Latte (5 ingredients)
Recently, McDonald’s released a new addition to their coffee line – the turtle macchiato. I saw an ad for it, we were going to be right next to a McDonald’s (when are you not?), so we got one. Derek and I were supposed to share, but he was looking at something and he made me hold it and… I drank it all.
